About Clinical Trials

Clinical trials help researchers learn if investigational drugs are safe and how well they work. It is your choice to say yes or no when you are asked to be in a study.

Participation is voluntary and you may leave the study at any time. If you choose to leave, you should let the study doctor know. Your usual treatment and medical care will not be affected.

You may or may not feel any better by being in a study and you may have side effects from being in a study. Your health will be monitored by the clinic medical staff.
